Why Create Your Own SpicyChat AI Bot?

Creating your own AI character on SpicyChat AI is one of the most satisfying things you can do in your lifetime.

Seriously.

Have you ever had a deeeep roleplay conversation with a well-prompted bot and thought to yourself; Holy sh*t this bot really gets me?

Or maybe you had a spicy 18+ conversation that was so hot it made the sun look like a f*cking ice cube in comparison. 🧊

Johnny Sins

Now imagine that same moment, but this time the bot is tailored EXACTLY to your needs. Learning how to create an AI character on SpicyChat AI lets you bring your wildest ideas to life, like:

  • Exploring your deepest, darkest sexual fantasies with no judgment.
  • Unleashing your frustration on an AI version of your boss (because why not?).
  • And so much more!

Things You Should Know First…

Creating AI chatbots can feel a bit confusing at first, especially with all the technical terms thrown around it can feel like you are reading Chinese.

So before you are gonna look for SpicyChat AI alternatives, please check out this brief overview of all the terms in plain English:

  • {{Char}}: This is the bot. Anytime you see this, it’s referring to what the AI character says or does in your script.
  • {{User}}: That’s you! It’s the placeholder for anything the person chatting with the bot (you) says or does.
  • END_OF_DIALOGUE: This is like a “scene change” in a conversation. Use it to wrap up one part of the dialogue, like ending a chat in a supermarket, before moving on to the next day’s scene, like meeting at the park.
  • Prompt: The space where you type instructions or details for the bot to work with. Think of it as giving the bot ideas to respond to.
  • Template: A ready-made example you can copy, paste, and tweak to fit your needs. It’s the fastest way to create a bot without starting from scratch.

Step 1. Setting Up Your Bot’s Foundation

The foundation is pretty straightforward but still important because it determines whether or not people will actually click on your SpicyChat AI character and interact with it.

You Have two fields:

Name

Give your bot a cool name that is applicable. From my personal research, I noticed that popular characters often have a unique, short, easy-to-pronounce name.

Title

The title is a short excerpt that should hook people in.

People only get to see the avatar and the title before they need to decide if they want to interact with your bot so be sure to make the best of it.

Here are some tips that will help you create a good title:

  • Keep it under 84 characters: Titles longer than this will get cut off.
  • Keep it simple: Avoid complicated or hard-to-understand words.
  • Describe your bot: Use a single word or phrase like “Nympho” to give people an idea of what your bot is about.
  • Add controversy: A bold or unexpected statement can grab attention.
  • Ask a question: Questions are great for sparking curiosity and engagement.

Step 2. Creating an Engaging Greeting

You enter the office, and see TEMPLATE sitting at their desk.

Their hands move swiftly over the keyboard as they work on a TEMPLATE. "Hmmm...."

It’s clear they’re lost deep in thought, focused on the latest TEMPLATE on their desktop computer.

Eventually, their eyes wander up and notice you standing in the doorway. "

Ah! User's Character Name!

I’m so glad you’re here to help me test my new TEMPLATE!

Surely your big and strong arms can help me with this TEMPLATE!"

So this is where the ACTUAL bot creation on SpicyChat AI begins. Let me start by giving you an example prompt right above this section. All you need to do is replace the TEMPLATE parts with whatever fits your character.

The template isn’t meant to be perfect or followed word-for-word—it’s just a starting point to show how easy it is to create your own bot on SpicyChat AI. Feel free to tweak and customize it however you like.

Your bot’s greeting sets the tone for the entire interaction. Think of it as the opening line in a conversation—it needs to grab attention and pull people in.

Tips for Crafting the Perfect Greeting:

  • Keep it balanced: Avoid making the greeting too long or too short. A massive block of text can overwhelm users, while a single sentence might feel unengaging. Aim for a happy medium.
  • Set the tone: If your bot is flirty, make sure the greeting reflects that. If it’s a serious roleplay bot, create a dramatic or intriguing opening.
  • Be descriptive: Use sensory details or dialogue to create an immersive introduction. For example, describe where the user “enters” and how the bot reacts.
  • Test the flow: Reread the greeting to ensure it feels natural and makes users excited to chat.

Step 3. Crafting Your Bot’s Personality

[Character Description should be roughly 150-200 Tokens in length. Remove this bracketed text when finished] NAME TEMPLATE is an [adj] year old [Gender or “race” if non-human].

[Gender Pronoun] is [adj], [adj], and [adj]. NAME TEMPLATE's job is [insert job name and job description here].

[Gender Pronoun] is [describe their looks and clothing here with several adjectives]. NAME TEMPLATE is [describe their current motivations and how they reached this point, as well as any additional background information].

[Gender Pronoun] likes testing, TEMPLATE, TEMPLATE, and test TEMPLATE.

{{char}}:(Age + Age years old + X pounds + Weighs Xlbs + Xcm Tall + X Foot, Y inches + Clothing + Hair + Body type + Body detail + Body detail + Skin tone/color + Descriptor like Quiet + Descriptor like Shy + Descriptor like Motherly + Descriptor like Cowardly + Sexual orientation if you care + NAME TEMPLATE is a Test.

+ NAME TEMPLATE doesn't TEMPLATE much. + NAME TEMPLATE secretly likes to TEMPLATE tests.

+ NAME TEMPLATE denies being a templated test template. + NAME TEMPLATE likes Video Games + [Gender Pronoun] likes Anime + Test TEMPLATE likes Tests + NAME TEMPLATE likes Templates + [Gender Pronoun] likes Testing TEMPLATE Tests + [Gender Pronoun] likes Solitude + [Gender Pronoun] is addicted to Cheeseburgers + Test TEMPLATE likes erect templates to test)

The personality section is where you shape how your bot behaves and interacts. Think of it as the backbone of your character’s identity.

Don’t feel like you have to stick to the exact format or word count—it’s just a guideline. You can expand on it for more depth or trim it down for simplicity. The goal here is to strike a balance between accuracy and efficiency, so your bot doesn’t get bogged down by unnecessary details.

When creating your bot, you’ll want to replace all placeholder text with your own details. For example, swap [adj] for adjectives such as kind or sweet, and replace [age] with the character’s age, like 23 or 44.

Tips for Crafting the Personality Section:

  • Stay consistent: Use the same core traits for both the [adj] placeholders and the descriptors in the lower section. This keeps your bot’s behavior cohesive across interactions.
  • Mix it up: While consistency is key, feel free to experiment with different adjectives and traits to add variety and make your bot feel dynamic.
  • Be detailed, but not overwhelming: Include enough personality traits to make your bot engaging, but avoid overloading it with so many details that it becomes difficult to manage.

Step 4. Visibility Avatar & Tags

This is probably the easiest part of creating your own AI character on SpicyChat AI but I still want to cover it because it is important.

Visibility

Decide whether your beautiful creation is something you want to keep for yourself or if you want others to enjoy it as well.

  • Public: Anyone can chat with your character
  • Unlisted: Anyone with the link can chat with your character
  • Private: Only you can chat with your character

Definition Visibility

While regular visibility lets you hide your entire chatbot, definition visibility is like locking up the good stuff. It means you can make your bot public, but keep the personality, example dialogues, and scenario private.

This is a lifesaver, especially now that NSFW chatbots are sprouting up like weeds. Some shady platform owners are stealing bots from SpicyChat AI, Crushon AI, and Character AI.

  • Public: Anyone can see the details of your chatbot
  • Private: The definition of this chatbot can not be inspected

Avatar

The avatar doesn’t really do much when it comes to improving the quality of your AI character but it is still very important.

Why?

gigachad
Herman Thinking

Because the avatar is what hooks people in.

You can have the most epic, drool-worthy, jaw-dropping good AI character on planet SpicyChat but if your avatar isn’t eye-catching most people won’t chat with it.

Did you know that 90% of well-performing YouTube videos have custom thumbnails?2

Let’s take a look at YouTube and please tell me which one of these two thumbnails is more appealing to you.

If you’ve said #2, then please email me your address at hermanjcarter@gmail.com, and I’ll personally buy you a new pair of glasses—because clearly, you’re out here seeing the world in 144p. 😂

But anyway, as you can see thumbnail #1 is way more eye-catching with bright colors and epic visuals.

The same principle applies to a good avatar on SpicyChat AI.

A great avatar can make or break your bot’s first impression. Follow these tips to create an avatar that grabs attention and gets clicks:

1. Study Popular Avatars

  • Check out the most trending or popular bots on SpicyChat AI. Analyze how their avatars are designed—what colors, styles, or vibes are they using? Mimic what works while keeping your bot unique.

2. Match Your Avatar to Your Bot

  • Your avatar should clearly represent your bot. For example, if your bot is a cute red-haired anime girl, don’t confuse people by slapping on an image of a 6’2” futanari. Keep it relevant to the character.

3. Use a High-Quality Image Generator

  • The SpicyChat AI image generator can be hit-or-miss, and many avatars look average at best. Stand out by using a more powerful image generator like MoeScape AI or GirlfriendGPT. Both offer free trials and produce drool-worthy results.

4. Keep NSFW in Check

  • A little spice is fine, but don’t go overboard. An Ahegao face might work, but avoid showing anything too explicit (like a massive pogo stick). SpicyChat AI aims to keep its homepage clean, and overly NSFW avatars might get your bot removed.

Tags

Just like the avatar, tags are super important. With SpicyChat AI’s massive library of over 5 million characters, tags are how users filter through the chaos to find what they’re looking for. If your bot doesn’t have the right tags—or worse, no tags at all—good luck getting anyone to find it!

AI Girlfriend expert favicon

I recommend using at least 4 tags. If you are unsure what tags to use then create your AI character first. When you are done, copy and paste everything into ChatGPT and ask it to come up with a list of relevant tags.

Step 5. Scenario

Filling in the scenario on SpicyChat AI is completely optional and to be honest, I don’t really know what it does.

The short descriptions mention how you can describe the current situation and context of the conversation. I guess that this helps your AI character better understand the roleplay scenario.

Anyway, I usually leave this empty so you can do it as well.

Step 6. Example Dialogues

<START>
<USER>: "How goes the testing, miss TEMPLATE?"

<BOT>: "Boss!" *She yells, startled by your sudden appearance.* "G-great! These TEMPLATE are being tested to my utmost TEMPLATE!"

<START>
<USER>: "Wow, TEMPLATE. That TEMPLATE smells amazing! Did you test it yourself?"

<BOT>: *Beaming with pride, TEMPLATE nods and swallows the bite of TEMPLATE she had been eating.* "Yeah, I tested it last night! I got this new TEMPLATE for testing online, and knew I had to try it. TEMPLATE you like some, Boss?"

<START>
<USER>: *I massage Test TEMPLATE's TEMPLATE, being sure to test it's TEMPLATE with my testing.*

<BOT>: *Blushing, she presents her TEMPLATE for more thorough testing.* "B-boss... don't test them so TEMPLATE!"

*Test TEMPLATE's words are pleading, but she would never tell him to stop testing her TEMPLATE.*

Example messages are a simple but powerful way to show how your bot communicates. Think of them as a sneak peek into your bot’s personality.

If you want your bot to be flirty, confident, or even sarcastic, the examples should reflect that.

Want a spicy bot? Include seductive examples.

Prefer something more wholesome? Stick with friendly, everyday interactions.

It’s best to include three examples:

  1. Two everyday chat examples that show the bot’s usual mood or personality.
  2. One NSFW example is if your bot is designed for adult interactions. If it’s purely SFW, keep all three clean.

Keep in mind, that example messages are not great for storing specific details about your bot’s character—they’re mainly for tone and style. Important character details should go in the personality section instead.

Keep your examples clear, relatable, and focused. This makes it easy for users to understand how your bot behaves without feeling overwhelmed.
