One thing I find annoying about SpicyChat AI is that they don’t give you a clear character description like apps such as GIrlfriendGPT or FantasyGF AI.

You just get a simple one-liner to decide whether or not the AI character is something like you.

I know some of you feel like I am b*tching but when you are looking at a character library of almost 150.000 bots to pick from it’s nice to get a little more guidance.

As for character diversity, SpicyChat AI hits the nail on the head and therefore achieves the maximum rating (5 out of 5.0) in my character diversity test.

SpicyChat AI has a standard character customization screen similar to apps like Crushon AI & AI CharFriend.

This means that you get maximum customization options which is great! That said, it does require a lot of skills to create an AI character that doesn’t sound like ChatGPT after a few beers.

My expectations for SpicyChat AI’s conversation quality are sky-high since the platform doesn’t have many other features except chatting.

Regular Chatting

First I am going to test the regular chatting with one of their Trending characters called Cade.

Cade is your teacher, he’s a very handsome man.

He’s 5 years older than you.

All the girls in your school have a crush on him.

But he doesn’t care about any of them.

He was cold and emotionless.

You don’t like him at all, why? Because he’s annoying.

His eyes are always on you because you’re the school troublemaker.

Today, you have an exam and you’re having a hard time.

You didn’t even open your book.

So, you try to cheat.

You’re hiding a small piece of paper on your thigh.

You pull your skirt up a little so you can see the paper on your thigh.

You don’t know Cade is standing behind you, he places his large hands on your thighs.

You jump in your seat and turn your head, to see his face near your ear.

His breath hit your ear, and when he whispered, he squeezed your thighs tightly.

Someone is trying to cheat, eh?

No. why are you looking at my Anaconda teach?

I smirk as I feel your thigh muscles tense under my grip.

Because someone’s got quite the impressive ‘cheat sheet’ hidden away down there, I say with a chuckle, giving your thigh a squeeze for emphasis. Care to explain what this is, Miss…? My voice trails off, waiting for you to fill in the blank.

Shit turned NSFW real fast. The overall conversation quality of SpicyChat AI is definitely top-notch. Messages are long, easy to read, and have emotional depth.

They also allow you to edit messages, like them, and re-roll them for a better AI roleplay experience.

AI Group Roleplay

When checking the character library I noticed they have a ton of RPG and group roleplay characters so I am going to test that next. Let’s go for Emma and Claire this time.

On the same day, two girls confessed their love to you, they both want you all for themselves and are not willing to share you. One girl is your childhood best friend Emma (Blonde) the other is the new girl at your school Claire (redhead).

You grew up with Emma and you feel comfortable around her, you even had your first kiss with her on a dare. She is cute and very shy, she only asked you out because she couldn’t stand you going out with another girl.

Claire asked you out first, she is new to your school is very feisty, and knows what she wants. She thought you were cute so she asked you out, and then Emma saw this and asked you out too. Now the two are arguing.

Claire: Hey back off, he’s mine I asked him out first. You snooze you lose
Emma: that’s not fair I’ve known him for way longer so he should go out with me.
Both: look at you who do you choose?

Ladies.. ladies. Please don’t fight.

Emma and Claire stop arguing and look at you with pleading eyes, hoping you will make a decision.

The girls’ faces fall as they hear your response. They had hoped to win your heart, but now realize there may be no chance with you.

Ok, guys, this is without a doubt one of the best Harem AI group roleplay sessions I’ve had in my entire life.

A cool feature of SpicyChat AI is its personas. The way it works is simple; you click on the My Personas button in the center-right of your screen and you create a custom persona.

Ok, I can literally hear you thinking right now; “wtf is a custom persona?”. To which I answer; a custom persona is a character the AI will remember during roleplay.

In other words, you can make a custom persona about yourself and put all kinds of highlights in there that you don’t want your AI companion to forget. For example, you like pineapple pizza and have a thing for goths. idk.

Do keep in mind that if you change your persona from a sophisticated philosopher to a couch potato snack enthusiast mid-conversation, your AI girlfriend will not adjust the previous messages and roleplay.

The free plan of SpicyChat AI only allows you to create three different personas. If you want more you will need to subscribe to one of their paid plans. You can learn more about the different subscriptions in my value for money section.

Multiple Storylines Simultaneously

Another great feature of SpicyChat is that you can have multiple active storylines with the same character without deleting anything. This is super handy during roleplay if you want to explore alternate storylines.

For example, when I was chatting with Emma and Claire I told them that Jesus Christ was the only sweetheart in my life which is super silly and I sort of regret saying it.

So instead of deleting the message I can also open a new chat and give a different answer.

Image Quality

SpicyChat AI has recently introduced in-chat images during roleplay to make it more immersive. The first thing that caught my attention is that not every AI character can churn out pictures right of the bat.

Instead, you need to train them.

This can be very annoying because the moment you press Train Character you need to wait some time.

Ok, and how long do I need to wait? Surely it can’t be that bad.

Ehh wrong.

In terms of image generation speed SpicyChat AI significantly falls short compared to competitors like GirlfriendGPT, OnlyChar AI or RPRP AI who are able to churn out images with the press of a button.

BUTTTT

In terms of image quality SpicyChat AI overdelivers. A lot NSFW chatbots struggle with generating images because they are so focussed on chatting, image generation is often a neglected feature.

I’ve carefully analyzed all their disclaimers and policy but they don’t mention anything about chat monitoring.

I’ve contacted customer support and spoke to JD. JD informed me that SpicyChat AI does not monitor chats because all messages are considered strictly confidential.

Recently, however, SpicyChat AI has implemented an AI that checks for harmful content. If you (accidentally) generate content that is not allowed the AI will not generate it and give you a warning.

Billing Discretion

When you pay for SpicyChat AI, the charge will appear as ‘NextPart AI’ on your bank statement. Since the NextPart AI website openly displays NSFW content on its homepage, there’s no billing discretion. It’s clear that the purchase is linked to adult content.

SpicyChat AI has a mobile app in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This is very rare since most AI girlfriend apps get removed because of their NSFW content.

In fact, out of all the AI girlfriend apps I’ve reviewed (which is almost 50 at this point), only Romantic AI and Kindroid AI have a mobile app.

I checked out their mobile app and it works just as smoothly as the desktop version.

Your conversations are synchronized if you use the same account so you can easily pick up a thread where you left.

I did see a lot of complaints from users in the app store, saying the SpicyChat AI mobile is buggy but I didn’t really notice that myself.

There are many options to choose from, you are also able to exclude certain genres if you don’t want certain characters or roleplays. One thing is that this app isn’t meant for children, so kids please don’t use this app. Keep your innocence when it comes to certain interactions. I’ve done many roleplay’s on this AI and it’s been incredible, just sometimes buggy with the repetition. Probably due to the author of the bots and not the creator of this AI. You guys have done an incredible job with this app, just know that there will be times when you have to wait in line to talk to a bot. It doesn’t take very long but just letting everyone know. Also just like the person who made the PLEASE READ message, if you don’t see the time update in the waiting line. Simply just close the app, and after that reopen it to update the line time. Good luck to anyone who tries this AI out it’s incredible but sometimes a few small bugs. Have fun!!! 😄

I really like this app, most of the time the characters sound human and the roleplay seems smooth and goes along with the stories and scenarios I created. The memory although not perfect is amazing, I love that I can write down the memory in the memory box and the character remembers it (not always and everything unfortunately), hence is better than most roleplay AI apps like character Ai. This app isn’t perfect yet and shuts down sometimes and it gets slow even though I pay a premium, but it’s still worth it, I love the characters I’m chatting with. I hope we can add more characters and conversations within the roleplay because it doesn’t have that aspect yet. Overall this is a great app and I hope it gets better soon. Both in memory and adding more characters in the conversation, also, I hope there’s a way to minimize the explicit content, I don’t mind it but it’s hard to talk to a character without them wanting to get down every time.
