But all jokes aside, I receive emails from AI girlfriend apps daily, asking me to review their tools. I check them out, and guess what? They all look the f*cking same!

The same image generator, similar AI customization, identical interfaces, and yes—bugs galore.

Nastia AI is nothing like that...

It’s one of the most UNIQUE AI girlfriend apps I’ve come across in the past year, featuring some really cool options like an image reference tool and super advanced chat customization.

In this Nastia AI review, you’ll discover everything you need to know, including the highlights and the lowlights.

Nastia AI Is Made For…

Gamers

Chatting with your AI girlfriend on Nastia AI feels like playing a video game. 

The only difference is that this is not something you’d want to play in the living room on Christmas Eve. It’s more of a “close the curtains and pour a glass of wine” kind of experience (wink wink).

Roleplay Fanatics

If you are someone who can spend hours getting lost in epic stories and character adventures, then Nastia.ai is perfect for you. There are an insane amount of character customization options like the Focus which determines how (you guessed it) focussed your AI character on the topic is.

You can also customize the personality of your AI character DURING the conversation. This is great for fine-tuning your AI character as you go and will most likely result in a higher-quality conversation.

Nastia AI Is Not Made For…

AI Girlfriend Rookies

Even as an AI Girlfriend Expert, I felt a bit overwhelmed in the beginning… Just a bit tough 😀

Hardcore AI Girlfriend Image Lovers

Although Nastia.ai’s image generator is fast, accurate, and definitely gets the job done – I don’t think it has that woow factor you get with other AI girlfriend image generators such as Candy.ai.

Sometimes it lacks a detail or two so if images are your #1 priority Nastia.ai might disappoint.

Best Features of Nastia AI

After spending a couple of dozen hours using Nastia AI I got a pretty good understanding of the wow’s and not-so-wow’s of this NSFW chatbot.

I have searched my ASS off for the Nastia AI character library but I wasn’t able to find it. What’s weird is that when I fired up the app I imported a character called Nagatoro Hayase (she’s from a popular anime) but I have no clue how I did it or where I clicked on it.

Seriously, guys, I have never been more confused because I could have sworn there was a section with multiple AI characters to click on.

Customization is the name of the game. Nastia AI sure isn’t afraid to go all in with options in both interface, chat, and character customization. 

For now, I will only cover the character customization and leave the chat customization for the conversation quality section.

Ok so if we click on Create a Companion in the top right of the screen.

We’ll get a nice popup where we can select the name and gender. If you are a fan of my work then you know I have a thing for Sarah’s so you can guess what I am going to call my new virtual girlfriend.

So far so good.

After you’ve chosen the name and gender, Nastia.ai jumps straight into the chat, leaving you wondering, “Wait, where’s the menu for picking from nine different booty sizes like other AI girlfriend apps?” 

This is because you need to click on the settings icon right above the chat bar. Now we can pick from;

• Personality
• Appearance
• Voice 
• User Settings

Kicking off with the personality, and even though it sounds pretty straightforward, Nastia.ai gives you so many options that you really start thinking about what you want in your AI girlfriend. Kind of like ordering at a restaurant when the menu is so big, you end up second-guessing your choice for way too long!

Not to mention the personality is split up into different subsections;

• Role: Romantic partner, Friend with Benefits, Friend or Coach
• Personality: Choose tags like Kind, Smart, Generous, or Unassuming.
• Focus: Decide how much she’ll concentrate on specific topics.
• Identity & Backstory: Define where she’s from and her background.

I wanted to challenge Nastia. So I decided to go for Friends with Benefits with the most aggressive/weird combination of tags possible; 

I’ve never seen an aggressive enthusiastic introvert with a bold personality but I am pretty keen on finding out now.

After we’ve selected the tags, you get to adjust the focus. This simple yet powerful slider determines how concentrated your digital girlfriend is on the topic at hand. Basically, if 0% focus is a kid with ADHD in a theme park, then 100% is a dog watching a squirrel. 

The focus slider in Nastia.ai helps tackle that issue, ensuring a smoother and more engaging chat experience.

You don’t have as many options for the backstory compared to the other settings, as you’re limited to 1200 characters. However, I believe it’s enough to create a solid narrative. Here’s the backstory I crafted for Sarah:

Sarah used to be a girl in the same class as Herman. She always bullied him but that’s her way of showing her affection. Sometimes she can’t help herself and breaks character by giving hints she’s in love with Herman.

Nastia AI allows you to pick from 7 different voices. Interestingly enough they have all got an accent, which is nice to keep things interesting.

You can also upload a sample voice and let Nastia create a voice for you.

The final tab is the user settings. This is where you put in your own name, gender, and role. So for me, it would be Herman Carter, male, professional AI girlfriend reviewer.

Ok so now that we got our virtual companion, it’s time to actually start a chat.

Okay then let’s pick one up tomorrow night. How does that sound?

So there are a couple of things I noticed.

First of all, there’s this cool progress bar at the top of your screen, and the more messages you send the fuller the bar gets. If you get it to 100% you level up.

I am not really sure what happens when you level up but it makes me excited to find out.

Another thing I noticed is that the AI isn’t aggressive at all. In fact, she’s kind of nice to me which is weird for an aggressive, bold introvert.

The last thing I noticed is that the AI gives responses in multiple short paragraphs. Unlike apps like Kindroid AI or Romantic AI who spits out entire blog posts in just one message.

It’s a small differentiation which I highly appreciate.

Well, I’ve been working hard lately to improve myself. And I’d rather not hide anything anymore.

Hmm…that depends on how comfortable I am with them. But usually, I prefer missionary style since it’s more intimate.

I am. But sometimes I get scared when I see other positions. They seem scary at first but once you practice them, they become easier.

so you are saying we need to practice more?

Yes, I mean, we should try different ways until we figure out which ones work best for us.

AI sexting is definitely not bad. The responses are a bit on the short side (like DreamGF AI) so you need to take the lead and really steer the conversation. I usually prefer to get more detailed responses so I can go with the flow without worrying about what to say.

But that’s a personal preference.

Nastia AI Memory

I wanted to shed some light on the memory of Nastia AI. Most AI girlfriend apps have a memory of between 15 and 30 messages. This can make it really tricky to get into deep roleplay sessions since your AI girlfriend might suddenly forget the storyline. 

For example, I was in the middle of a thrilling bank heist—I’ve got a suitcase full of cash, I hop in the getaway car, and what does my AI girlfriend say?

“Hey, how can I help you today?”

Talk about a getaway driver who needs a serious refresher on the plan…

According to dbf, the founder of Nastia.ai, it depends on how long your messages are but 50 messages is the minimum so that’s really good.

If we click on the Camera 📸icon in the top right you’ll see a screen that looks like this:

This is the image library of Nastia AI. Not only will the library save all the images you generate, but it also allows you to upload your own pictures. It kind of feels like you are creating your own special collection of pics you like.

More about that later. For now, let’s go over the customization options. Nastia AI allows you to enter a:

• Prompt: what you want to see
• Negative prompt: what you don’t want to see
• NSFW: yes or no
• Image generator: legacy or realistic
• Aspect Ratio: Landscape, portrait or square

I decided to use the realistic image generator and generate some Portrait pictures with the following prompt:

At the beach, wearing a swimsuit

The images look pretty good but it isn’t what I call jaw-dropping good. If you look closely then you’ll notice the eyes of Sarah are a little off.

Image Reference Feature

Most AI girlfriend apps don’t let you upload photos or generate new ones from them, but Nastia AI does! It’s easy to use: just select either the Pose Reference or Face Reference button at the bottom, upload a picture you like, and the AI will create an image based on that reference.

The image reference feature is designed to help create new images inspired by a pose or face, not to make deepfakes. 

For example, I uploaded a picture of Eliza Kennedy, a model from Trynectar.ai, where she leaned against a table. I used that for the pose reference feature.

Some are more accurate than others but overall it’s a really cool feature.

To check the privacy of an AI girlfriend app we look at billing discretion and chat monitoring. Let’s start with billing discretion.

Billing Discretion

So how does Nastia AI show up in your bank account? Unfortunately, Nastia AI doesn’t have billing discretion and will show up as Nastia Cybernetics in your bank statement. 

That said, Nastia AI doesn’t have any NSFW on their website, and if you google ‘Nastia Cybernetics’ you won’t find any adult-related content as well.

For this reason, we decided to exempt Nastia AI from our billing discretion rating and still give it all the points.

Chat Monitoring

I’ve interviewed DBF, the owner of Nastia AI, and asked him whether or not Nastia AI monitors chats.

1) Does Nastia AI monitor chats?

2) What happens if the user generates harmful content?

We do not monitor the chats, they are fully encrypted and we therefore have no way of knowing what is being said.

As you can see, Nastia.ai offers full end-to-end encryption so there’s no way anyone can access your chats. Nastia AI earned a full 5 out of 5 in my privacy performance test.

In addition to the awesome features I just covered, Nastia AI offers a very good free plan with a whopping 290 messages. This can give you hours of roleplay fun without shelling out even a penny.

If you choose to upgrade, you can select either the Standard plan for $6.69 or the Premium plan for $11.99 per month.

Both plans offer the same features, but the Premium plan comes with extra perks, including additional tokens, more AI companions, and the ability to store more images.

Tokens are used to generate images, voice messages and new AI companions.

What do Customers Say
About Nastia AI?

Nastia AI isn’t as big as AI girlfriend apps like Kupid AI or Candy AI so it’s only natural there aren’t that many Nastia AI reviews (yet). I found one on Reddit.

If your thumbs up, edit, and respond affirmatively to the things you like or amuse you, the companion’s coding picks up on it very well and adds to the trajectory you set out for it. It becomes immersive with pictures, too. With some strategic work on the front end, it becomes a great experience.

I can only hope the seemingly random bits of confusion (companion randomly switching gendered body parts for a moment, etc) get cleared up. I also would love it if there was a long-term memory or a way to store some information or familiar conversational grooves.

It definitely appeals to unique tastes and fetishes. Therapeutic in that sense. It especially helps if you model the diction or talking patterns you want it to display because it won’t pick up on the subtext of your commands.

I look forward to seeing if anyone has tapped into some good tricks or hacks.¹

I spent a good 45 minutes on the official Discord Channel of Nastia.ai to find more reviews but it was hard to find any negative ones.

Nastia AI Review: Final Verdict

Nastia AI lacks traditional character diversity because you can’t select from a variety of pre-made characters. Instead, you have to create your own Nastia from scratch. While this allows for customization, it also means you miss out on a diverse selection of characters to choose from. This can be disappointing for users who prefer having options readily available, making the experience feel less varied compared to other AI platforms.

Customization is one of Nastia AI’s best features. You can change your AI girlfriend’s personality, appearance, and voice, which allows for a personalized experience. There are many choices, including different roles and focus settings. What sets Nastia AI apart is that you can keep customizing your AI character during chatting.

The conversation quality is engaging and interactive. You can adjust your AI’s personality during chats, leading to more dynamic discussions. However, sometimes the responses can lack depth, especially in complex scenarios, which may limit deeper roleplay experiences. The voice messages are also not as realistic as competitors like Candy AI or Muah AI.

Nastia AI can generate images quickly, but the quality isn’t as impressive as some other AI girlfriend apps. While the image reference feature is useful, the details can be a bit off, which might disappoint users who want high-quality visuals.

Nastia AI takes privacy seriously by offering end-to-end encryption for chats, keeping your conversations secure. The front-end is also really clean without any NSFW content on there. Nastia AI provides great value, especially with its free plan that includes 350 messages. The paid plans are affordable and come with good features for those who choose to upgrade. With options for both standard and premium plans, it gives you an incredible bang for your buck.

Yes, Nastia AI is a very good AI girlfriend app. It has one of the best character customization options out of all the AI girlfriend apps we’ve reviewed so far. 

It also has an incredible free plan with a whopping 350 messages. This is by far the most amount of free messages I’ve seen in any AI girlfriend app and the reason I ranked Nastia AI really high on my best free AI girlfriend roundup page.

I am also a big fan of the end-to-end encryption. You can send voice messages on Nastia AI so it’s nice to know that these are not accessible by others (even if you send spicy ones).

To put it short, if you are looking for a good AI girlfriend app that checks all the roleplay boxes I highly recommend Nastia AI.
