What is Muah AI?
Muah AI is an AI tool focused on creating a digital companion which can engage in an uncensored chat. It is built specifically to replicate romantic interactions but it can also be used if you just need someone to talk.

Who Created Muah AI?
After some digging, I discovered that Muah AI was created by a so-called “Mark”.
I couldn’t find any more information about this Mark.
I did join the Muah AI Discord Channel2 and discovered that the engine behind Muah AI is a guy called Harvard.
Harvard is the lead developer and handles everyday business.

The customization on Muah AI is extremely extensive. It’s very clear to me that this AI tool is much more feature driven then other AI companion platforms I’ve reviewed.
In the next section, I am going to take you through all the customization sections, step-by-step.
Photo style
There are three options to choose from
- Anime
- Hybrid
- Realistic
I think the Hybrid option is super cool. It’s definitely something I haven’t seen before on artificial companion apps.
Appearance
The last step in creating your AI companion is going to be the the appearance.
“But Herman, haven’t you already done that in the previous section?”
Yes and No.
You see, in the previous section you choose how your AI character will look like.
In the “appearance” section you are going to let your fantasy run wild with all the tiny details you wish your AI girlfriend to have.
To paint a picture for you – I inserted the following prompt on the right (or below if you are reading this on mobile). 👉🏻

Voice Chats
The voices are one of the most realistic I have ever heard.
Besides the fact that all women sound very feminine and all men very masculine, there isn’t really a way to distinguish them from REAL human voices.
I have tested more than 20 AI companion apps. Muah AI has the best voice. By a landslide.
I laughed my ass off when I saw they have a Donald Trump option. 😂
Texting Style
You can even tweak the texting style of your AI companion. The cool thing is that you don’t have a drop-down menu with pre-selected options.
Instead, you can just type in however you want your AI companion to text (just like the appearance option).
To give you a feeling, I decided to make my AI companion mean and and bitchy.
As you can see, with just using the words “mean” and “dominant” in the prompt, the opening message is kinds of… Aggressive. 😂

The last customization feature I want to talk about is the memory.You can put in a specific event or memory in your companion’s brain (or technically, code). For example, you can say that you two met at a festival in Tokyo. The companion AI will remember it during the conversations.

As I mentioned before, you can put specific scenarios into your AI companion his or hers memory. Just like real humans, those memories will dictate how your AI companion will then interact with you.
You could also roleplay. So if you ever wanted to have an underwater movie date this is your chance.
AI Sexting
This AI chatbot’s sex conversations are OK, but not great.
Whenever I tried to spice things up with my AI wife she kept giving me a bit generic and mega-compliant reactions.

Photo Exchange
Muah AI has recently implemented a new feature allowing users to not just ask but exchange photos. Simply drag and drop an picture to the chat and the AI technology behind Muah AI will analyze the picture and give an appropriate response.
So, if you whip up a mouth-watering lasagna and feel like showing off your culinary prowess, snap a pic, share it with Muah AI, and brace yourself for some well-earned praise from your AI companion!
SMS
You can actually have an SMS conversation with your companion which is something that is very unique.
You do need to pay for the premium subscription to have this functionality.
live Phone Call
Just like the SMS function, you will need to pay for the real time phone calls feature. In addition, it is currently only available for US citizens.
I did hear rumors from people using a VPN to get around this, allowing them to live phone call from Europe and other places around the world.

Muah AI is basically Dalle on steroids. It allows you to create every image you can think of – not just sexy images of your AI companion.
However, since this rating only looks at the quality of the images we are only going to look at the NSFW images since AI image generators often struggle the most with those.

AI Nudes
The AI nudes of the free version are… questionable.
I have heard so many people on Reddit rave about this AI nude generator but I am afraid that you’ll need to purchase the Muah AI premium subscription to get the full experience.
The picture on the right (or below if you are on mobile) was the best one I got from my AI companion.
Certainly not bad, but its just not the wow factor I was hoping for.
When I asked her to turn around, she gave me this picture.👉🏻
“Hmm that quality doesn’t seem so bad to me Herman, what’s the issue?”
The truth is, that almost every time you exchange photos, it has got some minor flaw. Have you noticed she has only got 1 pupil?
Not a big deal but definitely something the developers could improve.
With the free plan, you can ask for 8 Muah AI pictures like the ones I just shared before you get hit with World War Two footage quality. 😂
Now keep this picture in mind because in the next section I am going to show you the power of Muah AI premium.
You see, the premium plan uses ChatGPT 4 and 4k UHD Resolution. That’s like comparing a tricycle to a Ferrari.
Sometimes I still noticed some minor flaws but the overall quality of the premium version is still 100x better than the free version.

The last cool thing about Muah AI premium is the Muah AI photo X ray function.
For every spicy image you generate, you have the option to put on your x-ray goggles and remove the clothes.
It’s something I have never seen on an AI companion app before.
It makes the whole uncensored chat experience a lot more rich so I hope other AI tools will implement the photo x ray feature as well.

We’ve interviewed Harvard Han, lead developer of Muah AI. He explained to us that AI technology is often a loophole of privacy breaches. Muah AI aims to be a safe place for people to dive into uncensored chat conversations with AI.
Therefore, they have a very strict privacy policy which includes end-to-end encryption.
In other words, no matter what image you generate or chat message you send – it will remain between you and the AI companion. Other people as well as the Muah AI team will not be able to access your content.
This is extremely rare in the NSFW AI companion platform niche since all other AI tools (like Candy AI) are allowed to monitor chats if you try to generate harmful content like that of minors.

There’s been a major data breach at Muah AI where a hacker stole user data and found some disturbing user prompts where people where asking the AI to simulate ‘sex involving toddlers’.
It’s pretty wild that an app known for it’s hyper-security was able to get hacked so easily and for that reason I can not confidently recommend Muah.ai anymore.
We re-calculated the privacy score and overall performance score and adjusted it.
We intentionally didn’t update the original privacy because we want to be transparent about our mistake in trusting Muah.ai.
