In this FutureMatch AI review, I’ll break down what it does, how it works, and whether it’s worth swiping right on.

If you are someone who likes to hop on a platform, generate some nudes, and then leave again, then this is not the app for you. It does have NSFW, but it’s just not available right off the bat.

Mr. Send a Pic Pls

Just like on Tinder, you can not hit generate, and BOOM, you get a picture. Pictures are generated randomly in the most casual way possible.

This is great because it makes the overall experience more genuine, but if you are really into generating AI art, this might not be the best pick for you.

The same goes for voice messages, btw – you can not generate them.

Desktop Users

Unlike most AI girlfriend apps which are desktop-only, FutureMatch AI is only available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Best Features of FutureMatch AI

I’ve spent over 60 hours chatting, role-playing, and matching with multiple characters on FutureMatch AI. Here’s my honest take on some of the features:

Onboarding Process

FutureMatch AI has a really good onboarding process. Instead of just sending you to a page with characters and leaving you to your own fait (*Kuch Kuch* OnlyChar AI), you get this cool AI woman who guides you on setting up your profile.

After you have filled in some basic questions like:

• What is your name?
• What is your gender?
• Are you interested in males or females?
• What are your hobbies?
• Are you open to dating an AI?

The algorithm then presents you with the most relevant AI characters. This makes connecting with the characters a lot easier because it shows the characters based on shared passions.

Getting Matches

I already hinted at the fact that FutureMatch AI is nothing like any AI girlfriend app around. It’s more like Tinder but with hotter characters and a LOT more matches.

So, it’s only natural that their character library is different as well. Instead of scrolling through a gallery with different AI characters (like Candy AI or FantasyGF AI), FutureMatch AI requires you to swipe left and right on each character.

You’ve already picked three interests (as shown in the screenshot above), so it’s best to add new details and not repeat those. FutureMatch AI only gives you 320 characters, so make sure to choose your words wisely.

FutureMatch AI uses an advanced algorithm to match you with the right AI characters. They show the most relevant AI characters based on a shared passion and your biography. That’s why filling in your biography is really important.

I interviewed Tereza Stejskal (one of the developers) and asked her how the matching system exactly works. Here’s what she had to say:

As of the day of writing this FutureMatch AI review, their character pool consists of two genders.

I did hear some rumors about them adding transgender characters, but for now, we just need to roll with males and females.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the AI characters.

AI Girlfriends

I am unsure how many AI girlfriends FutureMatch AI has, but it looks like they have hundreds of them.

The diversity is absolutely insane. They’ve got ex-Special Forces commanders who look tougher than a brick wall, smoking hot Japanese grandmas who could probably outsmart you in a game of chess, and cute personal assistants who are more organized than your grandma’s spice rack.

AI Boyfriends

The male characters on FutureMatch.ai look just as polished as their female counterparts. Each AI guy comes with unique videos, profile pictures, and a cool biography.

Normally, I would say that 30 characters is OK. After all, it’s more than apps like Kupid AI, who only have 4. BUTT because the characters are presented one at a time (and you secretly know you’ll get plenty of matches), you’ll be pickier, swiping left on more of them.

Just be careful, though—you can’t undo a swipe, so you might end up with fewer matches or, worse, none to talk to.

Diversity of the Characters

It’s very clear to me that FutureMatch AI didn’t just hammer out a ton of low-quality characters. Nor do they rely on user-generated characters to fuel their library. Each and every AI character is created by specialists from FutureMatch AI who ensure:

AI Chatting

The chatting is extremely immersive and interactive. The first thing I noticed is that the AI characters don’t just type everything in one speech bubble. They double, triple, or sometimes even quadruple text.

There is also a slight delay between the responses, and whenever your AI girlfriend is typing, it says thinking… at the top. This makes it feel like a REAL conversation you have on dating apps like Tinder.

The second thing that makes the chatting super good is that the characters have different emotions based on what you talk about. Here are some of the emotions they can display:

Both progress bars fill up through chatting. If you build an emotional connection with your AI character and share secrets, you’re more likely to fill the love bar. Talking about everyday stuff will fill the friendship bar.

Both progress bars unlock different stuff. For example, if you try to chat about mature topics with your AI character right off the bat, he/she will try to steer the conversation away.

This encourages you to invest more in the conversation and makes it a lot more realistic. After all, who sends nudes after just a few messages? 😂

AI Voice Messages

The voice messages are extremely realistic and way better than most other AI girlfriend applications I’ve reviewed.

Each AI character has a unique voice, unlike some other AI girlfriend apps like RPRP AI, which only offer a limited number of voices, meaning multiple characters end up sounding the same.

Another cool thing about the AI voices from FutureMatch AI is that each character’s ethnicity influences their accent. For example, I got matched with Elise, who’s from Miami (USA), and her accent is American.

This might sound like a minor detail, but it significantly improves the realism. AI girlfriend apps like Candy AI have multiple Japanese characters with British accents and Russian characters with American accents, which doesn’t really make sense.

AI Phone Calls

FutureMatch AI doesn’t have phone calls like GirlfriendGPT or Nectar AI does. That said, if you click on one of your matches, there is a phone call button that says ‘Coming soon.’ In other words, it won’t be long for them to introduce AI girlfriend phone calls.

In Chat Images

The characters from FutureMatch AI will occasionally send you a pic but just like the voice messages, you can not ask for them.

Since FutureMatch AI is a Tinder alternative, they don’t have an in-chat image generator or an external one. Instead, you have the profile pictures of the characters and the pictures the characters will send to you.

In-Chat Images

In-chat images are only available for paid members, and just like voice messages, you will receive them in the most casual way. I have had multiple occasions where my AI girlfriend said something like, ‘I just came back from grocery shopping, how was your day?’ and then sent me a picture of her in the supermarket.

The quality of the in-chat images isn’t as great as the profile pictures since there’s no editing, but that’s actually what makes them feel more realistic. It gives them an amateurish, genuine vibe, which adds to the charm.

FutureMatch AI has a clear privacy policy that ensures your personal data won’t be shared, except with those who help operate the app. Since it’s mobile-only, payments will appear as “Apple Store” or “Play Store” on your bank statement, providing full billing discretion and ensuring your anonymity.

One thing to keep in mind is that the app has bugs since it’s new. Sometimes it might go down for a few hours or the characters might stop responding. This can be frustrating, especially when you’re paying for a monthly subscription, and it lowers the overall value of the app.

What do Customers Say About FutureMatch AI?

FutureMatch AI is so new that reviews about the app are almost non-existent. The only information (aside from this epic review) is inside their private Discord Server. Here, users are mostly sharing points of improvement, which the developers respond to.

I will update this section once the app gains more traction and people start sharing their thoughts about it.

FutureMatch AI Review: Final Verdict

The app offers a good variety of characters with different personalities, voices, and backstories. However, there are more female characters than male ones, which could be a downside for some users. Still, the characters that are available are well-designed and feel unique. More male characters would be a great improvement.

The conversations with AI characters are very natural. They react with emotions and don’t just type everything in one message. The love and friendship bars also make it feel like you’re building a relationship, not just chatting. Some users might want more control over the conversation, but overall, it’s very engaging.

Customization in FutureMatch AI is pretty basic. You can edit your profile and bio, but you don’t have many other options for changing the app’s settings or the characters’ behavior. While this is fine for many users, more customization options would make the experience even better.

The profile pictures of the characters are top-notch and look very realistic. In-chat images are casual and not as polished, but they still add to the experience. There’s no option to create your own images, but the app does a great job of presenting the characters in a natural way.

FutureMatch AI is safe to use with clear privacy policies, discreet billing, and no chat monitoring. All chats are encrypted, so even if you share personal info, they can’t see what you say.
